Nursery
We ordered our rocker/glider today! It should be here by the end of this month. Now we have all of baby Durff's furniture for his/her nursery. Yay! That should be the last thing we purchase until after our baby showers. We were blessed to get to visit our family & friends in Valparaiso this past weekend. We got to see a lot of family and friends in a short time frame (about 36 hours). A few of them weighed in and were guessing baby Durff's gender. Its so fun and exciting. I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow, so only 4 more to go until we know boy or girl. Here are some pictures of baby's nursery. We chose a gray for the walls and espresso furniture.

I'm Sexy and I Know It
Happy Valentine's Day! I am 15 weeks pregnant today. Only 5 more weeks until we know if baby Durff is a boy or a girl!!! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!
I definitely look pregnant. Yesterday a co-worker looked at me and said, "Wow, you're not that far along...Are you sure there aren't twins in there?!" And then today while walking down the hall with my class another co-worker said, "OH MY, you look like you could deliver soon!" Well, instead of running into my room and crying or getting mad and yelling some equally rude comment back I've decided to just take a deep breath and imagine my 2 1/2 year old nephew singing "I'm sexy and I know it" and I just smile right on through. Seriously people, when is the last time you saw a pregnant person. Plus, in my defense, I'm pretty short so any weight gain to my belly shows quicker than on taller females. Oh well, its all part of the journey. The end result will be well worth the belly!
We got baby's crib and dresser last week! The nursery is looking more like a nursery, instead of an empty spare room. Wrigley laid on the floor while Brian and I put the crib together and I can only imagine what he was thinking. "Is this a new crate or kennel for me?" "Are we getting a roommate?" Oh the fun that is in store for him as a big brother! I took some pictures, but they didn't come out very good. I'm hoping to take some more this weekend during the day. I think some natural light would help show off the wall color and beautiful furniture.
I've started to have some trouble sleeping. Its hard to get comfortable when you can ONLY lay on your side. I've always been mostly a side sleeper I think, but just knowing I shouldn't lay on my belly or back makes me feel to constricted. Plus my arms are always falling asleep. So I'm tossing and turning most of the night...and its only the beginning of that I'm sure.

A third of the way there!
This week is the end of my first trimester. I am very hopeful that my energy level will return to normal in the next week or 2. Everyone tells me it should. We celebrated Wrigley's 3rd birthday this week! I love our dog so much its ridiculous, so I can't even begin to imagine the love I will feel when baby Durff arrives. Of course I already love our baby, but I'm so excited for the moment baby enters this world. I feel like my belly has gotten really big this past week. But I got my haircut last night and my hairdresser is 35+ weeks pregnant and I realized I have a long way to go. It is a crazy feeling to watch my belly grow and I'm amazed that a life is being grown inside my growing belly. My yoga classes started back up today, thank goodness. I LOVE YOGA! It gave me the energy to come home (on a Friday) and clean the house, something my husband is very thankful for. We are going to get baby's crib and dresser tomorrow! I'll post some pictures of the nursery once we get some furniture in there and set up. For now I'll leave you with a picture of my baby bump at 13 weeks.
