I am 10 weeks along today (30 more to go!). Although my clothes still fit they are feeling a bit more snug. I wasn't prepared for this to start so early, but I guess its all part of the process. I have learned that to keep the nausea at bay I need to eat all day. So breakfast starts at 6:30 with a bowl of cereal, a hard boiled egg at 8, some dry cereal or crackers around 9:30 or 10, lunch at 11, an afternoon snack at 1, then again at 3, and dinner around 5 or 6. I feel like I am eating all day long and that I will soon be fat! However, these meals are all small because I can't get too full or too hungry without being sick. Its a weird feeling. I've been reassured by other mommies, books, and pregnancy blogs that this is okay and I won't gain 100 pounds.
I don't think I've had any food cravings yet, but I will say things taste differently than they used to. The closest thing I've had to a craving is popsicles. Last week I wanted one and now our freezer is stocked, which is weird since its the middle of winter. I REALLY miss my morning coffee. It has been harder to give up than beer.
My nose is still very overly sensitive to smells. Things that bothered me before are now almost unbearable.
Brian and I think it will be fun to share some belly photos for our friends and family we don't get to see very often. Here is the first photo...don't mind the lack of make up, it was a full moon last night and my kids were crazy today so that's why I look a bit frazzled in the photo.
