She has a few new phrases that she says all the time. "What's up?" seems to be a favorite. "What's up Daddy? What's up Wrigs?" If someone sneezes, she will say, "Bless you." Bubble baths are also a new favorite thing. The other night she asked if Wrigley could take a bath with her. She loves her dog. They play in the water together, read together, walk together, play together, do everything together. Now if she could only find a way to get him to go down the slide with her.
Talking on the phone is also a new joy. "Hello Daddy. Hello Papaw. Hello Tyler" Anything that resembles a phone she will put up to her ear and talk into. She's used our phones, a calculator, her play phones, and a remote. Every night before dinner she keeps Mommy and Daddy on track and makes sure we say a prayer. She sings songs and demands certain songs from her CDs in the car. Giada has a favorite monkey that does everything with her named E.E. She also loves any opportunity to sit in "big girl" chairs, with no booster seat. She feels so big. And sadly, she is getting so big. I can not believe she will be 2 in a month. She has one speed: fast. She has finally learned to listen to Mommy and Daddy when we tell her to walk and not run.
This girl eats all the time. She loves blueberries and strawberries. Orange juice is also a new favorite. Fruit snacks or "chewies", yogurt, goldfish, and pretzels are also favorites. We are all ready for Papaw's garden to start producing so we have some fresh, yummy vegetables to munch on. Cheese is her all time favorite, just like her Daddy. Tilapia and salmon are her favorite dinners.
This morning Giada got to meet her new cousin, Rylan. We went to the hospital first thing to see Aunt Jessie, Brandon, and their new son. Giada loved holding him. She was so cute.
There was no water in her table yet so she decided to play with Wrigley's water.
Water table fun with her cousin Tyler.
Our sweet girl.
Helping Daddy brush Wrigley.
Daddy was on the phone so Giada pretended to talk on the phone too. "Hello!"
Swimming in the shade.
Father's Day
Loving her first dip in the big pool with Mommy, Daddy, and Mamaw.
